Warehouse & Logistics Operator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operator for a successful Letchworth based organisation.

This full-time permanent position, working hours Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm.

A standalone position which will be challenging but rewarding for the successful candidate there will an opportunity for someone to demonstrate their skills and ability to run the warehouse efficiently and effectively.

For the right person who demonstrates their capabilities this position can grow into a supervisor position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Taking delivery of goods and ensuring that match the relevant paperwork.
• Labelling products, organising and storing goods in an orderly manner.
• Inventory management and stock control.
• Picking and packing, securing items for dispatch and packing them securely.
• General admin tasks - using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Occasionally have to drive the company van to another storage location based nearby.
• Able to work under minimum supervision

Person Specification:

• Relevant warehouse experience.
• Be self-motivated and be able to work under minimum supervision.
• Full UK driving licence
• Administrative skills and have IT proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills - able to liaise well with other members of staff and external couriers.
• Organised with good attention to detail.
