Here at Kingston College, we are looking to appoint a Learning Facilitator to join our Learning Resource Centre (LRC).
The Learning Resources Centre (LRC) service at South Thames Colleges Group provides resources and support to staff and students through Learning Centres situated at each college site and through digital resources and services delivered across the Group.
Based at Kingston College, the Learning Facilitator will work in a frontline customer service role, joining the Learning Resources Team to help students and staff to use facilities and resources. You will deliver a high standard of customer service and support and actively encourage the effective use of LRC resources and services. This will include supporting students to use their college systems, digital learning resources and apps. It will also include helping students on a diverse range of courses to find and use resources for their coursework, including books and e-books.
As our Learning Facilitator, we'd like you to hold a Level 3 qualification and have experience of working in a customer focused environment, delivering a good or better level of customer service. You'll have a strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, to include PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook. We'd also like you to have good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to adopt an approachable manner when dealing with customers. Experience of providing technical support to customers is desirable.
Closing date for the return of a complete online application is 2nd November 2025.
The benefits package includes generous annual leave. There is an excellent pension scheme that receives a significant financial contribution from the employer (Teachers Pensions or Local Government Pension Scheme), subsidised sports facilities and professional development and training plus a salary sacrifice cycle to work scheme. The benefits package will be pro-rated for part time staff.
