Billing Manager
Location: Luton
Salary: Up to 45,000
Team Size: 10 (including 2 Team Leaders)
Hours: 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday
Hybrid Working: 1 WFH day per week after 6-month probation
Are you a confident leader with a sharp eye for detail and a drive to streamline and improve processes? As Billing Operations Lead, you'll take charge of a vital operational function within a nationally respected organisation, leading a skilled team, championing billing accuracy, and shaping best practices across the board.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading and motivating a team of 10, including two Team Leaders, within the Contract Administration and Billing function
- Managing the full billing lifecycle-ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with internal standards
- Responding to revenue-related queries, especially during month-end close
- Collaborating with the Head Office Finance team on both day-to-day and strategic needs
- Delivering training to team members and stakeholders on billing and contract admin processes
- Monitoring and reporting on billing performance, including invoice accuracy, credit note usage, and turnaround times
- Driving continuous improvements in billing procedures and internal workflows
You'll be the go-to person for all things billing, making sure everything runs like clockwork while supporting a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
