This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Sixth Form students, supporting study skills, attendance, UCAS applications, and post-18 pathways within a structured and ambitious school environment.

Key Details Sixth Form Academic Mentor

• Sixth Form Academic Mentor (Full-Time, Contract)
• Immediate start
• 36 hours per week, term-time
• Initial contract from April to August

The Role Sixth Form Academic Mentor
As a Sixth Form Academic Mentor, you will:

• Support students in developing effective study habits, independent learning, and time management
• Mentor students and supervise structured private study sessions
• Provide guidance on UCAS applications, personal statements, and post-18 pathways
• Liaise with parents, staff, and external providers to support academic progress and wellbeing
• Contribute to enrichment opportunities, including EPQ support and work experience coordination
• Support students at risk of disengagement, ensuring they remain focused and on track

Qualifications Sixth Form Academic Mentor

• Graduate with a Bachelor s degree in any subject from a Top UK university
• Prior experience working with Sixth Form students, careers guidance, or KS5 student support
• Confident in delivering both academic mentoring and pastoral support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
