Connected Car Vehicle Test Technician - 12 month contract - Cranfield - £18.64 per hour

What You Will Do:

• Prepare and maintain vehicles or components for test, ensuring compliance with local procedures and Engineering Manuals.
• Support testing in both static and dynamic conditions to gather accurate, timely, and quality data/results.
• Engage in evaluation and concern identification, including liaison with Test Engineers.
• Contribute to the delivery of Key Performance Indicators for the section.
• Utilise your skills to provide support to other sections as required.
• Execute test cases aligned to defined scenarios, analyse test results, and report on software quality, including defect identification and tracking.

What You Will Bring:

• Ideally a C&G / BTEC L3 in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering, or a recognised Apprenticeship in a relevant field.
• A working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for report writing & presentation preparation.
• Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage and prioritise work effectively.
• Strong communication skills and an interest in the latest smartphones and applications.
• Understanding of vehicle diagnostic tools and system knowledge with the ability to fault find.
