Damp and Mould Operative

Location: Dunstable, LU5Rate: £16.23 PAYE / £20.51 UmbrellaHours: 8am - 5pmContract Type: 3 Month Temporary Contract (Subject to change)

We're looking for a skilled Damp and Mould Operative to investigate, diagnose, and treat damp, mould, and condensation issues in residential properties. You'll deliver high-quality work and excellent customer service, ensuring residents' homes are safe and comfortable.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat damp/mould issues
• Deliver first-time fixes and maintain high standards
• Use PDA devices for scheduling and updates
• Liaise with staff and residents professionally
• Follow health & safety, equality, and environmental policies
• Flexibility for occasional evening/weekend work

Requirements

• Basic DBS Check
• Asbestos Awareness & Health & Safety training
• Experience in property maintenance or social housing
• Skills in carpentry, plumbing, or plastering
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Own trade-specific tools (power tools provided)
