Purpose of the role We are currently looking for a Bengali speaking volunteer befriender to meet up regularly with one of our residents at our service in Bromley, if you have a couple of hours to spare and can commit to volunteering on a regular basis, we'd love to hear from you./ ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?, ? ? ? ?

Are you a warm and chatty person, who's also a good listener? As a befriender, you will provide companionship to our resident by meeting together regularly for a cup of tea and chat. We ask that you are able to communicate confidently in Bengali in order to engage in conversations together./ ?, ? , ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

As a volunteer with Creative Support we offer training for your role, access to a volunteer supervisor, an induction, a monthly volunteer newsletter, and an online volunteer support network group on Zoom./ ? ? ? ?, ? ?, , ? ? ? ?

Volunteer duties • Meet on a regular basis/ ? • Follow safeguarding procedures, and report any concerns/ ? ?• Develop a friendship and enjoy conversations together whilst respecting boundaries./ ? ? ? ?• Complete any training provided/ ? ? ? • Attend regular volunteer supervisions with your volunteer supervisor./ ? ? ? ?
