Job Title: Site Foreman Substation (Epping, Essex)

About the Role:
We are currently looking for a Site Foreman to oversee a project based in Epping, Essex. The ideal candidate must hold the relevant Person in Charge (BECs Competent Person - Substation) qualification and have experience working in substations. This role is suitable for individuals from various trades, provided they have experience using their qualifications within a substation environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily on-site activities to ensure the safe and efficient completion of the project.
• Oversee and enforce compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, specifically within substation settings.
• Coordinate with the site team to maintain operational efficiency and resolve any technical or safety issues as they arise.
• Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards and within project specifications, while maintaining timelines.
• Report on project progress, challenges, and risks to the management team.
• Provide direction and supervision to site workers, ensuring that tasks are executed effectively and safely.

Key Requirements:

• BECs Competent Person (Substation) qualification is essential.
• Proven experience in a site foreman or supervision role, specifically in substation environments.
• Candidates from various trades are welcome, as long as they have experience applying their qualification in a substation context.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations for substation work.
• Ability to manage a team and ensure work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with site teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
