Paraplanner Vacancy - £40k - £50k - Boutique IFA - Putney (SW London)

Our client, a boutique independent wealth planning firm in Putney, is seeking a skilled Paraplanner to join their team. Specialising in whole-of-market financial advice, they serve high-net-worth (HNW) retirees, accumulators, local families, and SME owners primarily based in London and the surrounding home counties. Clients have diverse investment levels, with top clients possessing over £1 million in assets, predominantly from the creative industries. The firm offers comprehensive advice on pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, protections (both personal and business), and esoteric schemes such as VCT & EIS.

The firm prioritises exceptional client service and satisfaction, maintaining a highly ethical approach and a focus on lifestyle financial planning. With a very high client retention rate and longstanding relationships, they support their advisers with a highly experienced team of pooled Administrators and Paraplanners. Continuous professional development and industry exams are encouraged to help staff progress as both professionals and individuals.

The Managing Director is creating a new Paraplanner role to enhance the team. In this position, you will:

• Attend client meetings with advisers
• Serve as the technical expert and primary contact for report writing and complex cases
• Collaborate closely with advisers to determine the best course of action for each client
• Provide genuine input into the advice given, beyond just writing Suitability Reports

This role is ideal for a Level 4 qualified Paraplanner, preferably working towards or already holding Chartered Status. Long-term aspirations to become an adviser are supported for the right candidate.
