Quantity Surveyor

Bennett & Game are pleased to be working with a well-established regional contractor based in Portsmouth, delivering a wide range of commercial, residential, refurbishment and fitout projects across the South. With a forecast turnover of £14m for this year and a strong pipeline of secured work, the business continues to grow and is now seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. Project values range from £15k - £7M

This is a growth role that would suit a strong Assistant Quantity Surveyor seeking progression or an established Quantity Surveyor. The position is based from their Portsmouth office with hybrid working available and regular site visits across the region.

• Supporting and leading commercial management across a varied portfolio of projects
• Preparing valuations, variations, cost reports and final accounts
• Procurement of subcontract packages and commercial administration
• Site visits, progress checks and stakeholder liaison
• Assisting with tenders, cost planning and commercial risk management
• Maintaining accurate project records and ensuring contract compliance

• Open to candidates from main contracting or fit-out/refurbishment backgrounds
• Suitable for strong Assistant Quantity Surveyors seeking promotion or established QSs
• Strong commercial, numerical and contractual understanding
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Full UK driving licence
