Multi Trade operative for reactive maintenance work in Westminster

Up to £36000 per year

We are looking for a Handy Person and or/ Multi Trader Operative that has experience within the maintenance sector to join a busy repairs and maintenance contract.

About You

Candidates will hold a relevant City and Guilds or NVQ level 2 qualification in a core trade with addition secondary trade skills and have excellent working H & S knowledge. Customer focused with experience of working in occupied properties, you ll have a passion for completing high-quality repairs on time, first time. Ideally holding a Blue CSCS card.

• A hardworking, reliable work ethic, flexible as overtime & OOH works may be required depending on client or job requirements.
• Previous experience in maintenance and building environments, ideally within commercial or residential sectors.
• knowledge and previous experience in edge protection systems and suppliers, gantries, walkways and guardrails
• Previous experience and training in working at heights and fixed ladders.
• Understanding of HSE, relevant legislation and industry standards
• Understanding of the requirements of BS EN 13374: 2013 A1 2018
• Full UK Driver s License
• Previous use of handheld technology / smartphone
• Take pride in doing everything you do to the highest standard
• A good communicator, who understands the importance of customer service.
• City and Guilds qualifications or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the building industry
