Upper KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant - Camden - Immediate Start

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role supporting a child with global developmental delay? Hays Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Camden to recruit a dedicated and skilled SEN TA to support a Year 6 pupil on a 1:1 basis. This is a full-time position starting immediately, with the potential to continue into the next academic year.

Your new role

You will:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to a Year 6 pupil with global delay
• Implement strategies to support communication, social interaction, and learning
• Work closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and external professionals
• Monitor progress and adapt support plans as needed

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience supporting children with SEN, particularly global developmental delay
• Strong understanding of child development and inclusive education
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
