Multi-Skilled Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer

Role Summary:

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance work within plant rooms, communal areas and class rooms (when available). This role requires a positive person, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain electrical plant and equipment, lights, sockets, controls and carry out fire alarms tests, emergency light tests, etc
• Carry out basic plumbing / mechanical tasks, unblocking toilets, temperature checks, air conditioning checks including hot and cold temperature checks and changes
• Understanding of BMS systems and how to operate them
• Carrying out planned maintenance tasks as instructed by the management and support team
• Responding to emergency maintenance tasks as instructed by the management and support teams
• Completing paperwork
• Ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Good all round building maintenance experience
• Previous experience within a commercial building maintenance environment or an education setting essential
