Operations Coordinator - Road Freight/ Time Critical

We are looking for a proactive and organised Operations Coordinator to join our client based in Woking, you will be joining a growing Pharma logistics team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment, coordinating shipments, managing customer communications, and ensuring smooth day-to-day logistics activities.

The Role

As an Operations Coordinator, you will support the planning and execution of logistics operations, ensuring shipments, collections, deliveries, and demo equipment movements are accurately coordinated and tracked. Working closely with the Operations Manager, Operational Account Lead, warehouse teams, and transport providers, you will help deliver a high-quality, reliable service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipments, collections, deliveries, and demo equipment movements
• Schedule jobs and ensure clear operational instructions are communicated
• Create and manage bookings within internal systems
• Maintain accurate job records, documentation, and status updates
• Provide customers with timely updates on deliveries and job progress
• Liaise with transport providers, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders
• Assist with resolving operational issues and escalate complex matters when required
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and service standards
• Support the wider operations team with administrative and operational tasks
