About the Role:

Rhubarb Recruitment, a Specialist Luxury Private Chef and Private Household Recruiter based in London is seeking a dedicated and professional Private Chef for a private household in Beverly Hills L.A. This Private Chef job in America will be responsible for cooking simple homemade cuisine, such as fresh soups, homemade pastas etc. The Principal has strict dietary requirements and so we require candidates who are happy working with simple fresh food, strictly within set dietary requirements and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

You will prepare daily menus and adjust them as necessary according to the Principal's preferences and special medical dietary requirements (e.g. no salt). You will use fresh, organic, healthy (often Mediterranean) ingredients, manage, and source inventory, and purchase fresh produce daily from local and international markets.

The Principal is looking for a Chef who is very comfortable and willingly to follow clear instruction and who can deliver no more, and no less, than asked. For this reason a personable character, without an ego is essential for this Private Chef Job based in L.A.

Applicants should have prior experience working as Private Chef and must have good knowledge of making fresh home-made pastas.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Professional culinary education/training with prior experience as a Private Chef for UHNW families.
• Experience working in formal, fully staffed homes.
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine, especially in making fresh pasta.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish and Italian is a plus.
• American citizenship/rights-to-work.
• Immediate availability.
• Professional, discreet, and presentable demeanour with no visible tattoos or piercings.
• Calm, team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• No ego; able to follow instructions and directions precisely.
