Front of House Co-ordinator (Part Time)
Colet House, London
We are looking for a reliable and considerate Front of House Co-ordinator to support the smooth day-to-day running of Colet House. This role is central to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for everyone who visits or works in the building.
Typical Hours: Saturday 17:30 - 22:30; Sunday 08:30 - 18:30 (subject to change - 15 hrs per week guaranteed + additional hours available on some evenings)
Salary: £13.15/hr
Start: January / February 2026
Interviewing: December 2025 / January 2026
Key Responsibilities
Front of House & Administration
- Log attendance accurately in registers and records
- Use our online booking system to check guests in and sell tickets on the door when required
- Maintain reception and front-of-house standards throughout the day
- Handle incoming calls and greet all visitors with professionalism and courtesy
- Keep studios and rooms prepared and tidy for users
- Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Ensure meeting rooms, kitchens, and shared areas remain clean, orderly, and well-stocked
- Order supplies for the building as needed
- Provide general support to those visiting or working within the building
- Wear agreed staff attire, typically a branded t-shirt or fleece
Room Hire Support
- Check the daily diary for scheduled meetings and hirers
- Welcome hirers and assist with set-up where appropriate
- Liaise with the Managing Director regarding room preparation
- Deliver fire safety briefings or training to hirers when required
House Maintenance & Safety
- Water indoor plants and outdoor garden areas when needed
- Report maintenance or security concerns promptly to the Managing Director
- Ensure all emergency exits remain clear and in good condition
- Carry out regular Health & Safety checks as agreed with your manager
- Support general housekeeping throughout the day to keep the building neat and presentable
