Project Director

One of the leading companies in the D&B fit-out sector, are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to join their team. This role offers the chance to lead the entire project life cycle from winning work and managing the front-end tender process to overseeing the successful delivery of projects. The Role:
As Project Director, you will lead the entire project process, from securing new business through competitive tendering to ensuring the successful delivery of projects. You will collaborate closely with design, estimating, and delivery teams to produce high-quality, competitive tenders and manage projects through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the front-end process, driving the creation of competitive and compelling tenders to secure new projects.
• Manage the entire life cycle of projects, from initial bid through to successful delivery, ensuring high standards are maintained at every stage.
• Oversee the coordination between design, estimating, and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
• Take ownership of client relationships throughout the project, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and securing repeat business.
• Ensure the smooth handover from tender to delivery, overseeing the execution phase to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and in line with client expectations.

What We re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Project Director in the traditional fit-out sector, with a strong ability to lead both the front-end bidding process and project delivery.
• Experience managing large-scale fit-out projects from start to finish, ensuring all aspects are delivered to the highest quality.
• Strong commercial acumen, with a successful track record of securing new work and driving profitable projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and foster strong client relationships.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to oversee and guide every stage of the project life cycle, from initial concept to final delivery.
