Senior Quantity Surveyor Job in SW, London

Senior Quantity Surveyor job for an established multidisciplinary consultancy based in Sevenoaks, Kent. This role will see you working on new build residential and mixed-use residential projects across RIBA Stages 0 - 5, with a particular focus on re-cladding of high-rise schemes. Offering a salary of up to 65,000 + Bonus + Healthcare + 24 Days Holiday + BH + more.

With 4 offices across the south and circa 100 staff, they have formed a strong reputation in the residential and affordable housing sector and are also expanding into other public sector projects such as education and healthcare. This role will see you involved in the cost plans and estimates of residential projects, including re-cladding work for high-rise schemes and fire remediation work as part of a specialist team with a strong reputation in the industry

Role & Responsibilities

• Supporting clients by producing accurate and competitive cost estimates
• New cost plans for projects, across RIBA Stage 0 to Stage 5
• Client-side valuations and certification
• Preparation of cost/benefit analysis of design options
• Value engineering
• Reviewing and analysis of main contractor tender submissions
• Attend client and design team meetings.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in a similar position as a Quantity Surveyor, Cost Manager, or Cost Planner
• Consultancy background is essential
• Experience with cladding remediation work
• MRICS or working towards
• Residential JCT experience is desirable
• Ms Office, Cost X, and Bluebeam experience required.
