Pay/rate: £130 - £200 per day (dependent on role)

Your role

At term time teachers we are looking for an experienced biology teacher to teach biology up to KS5 within an exceptional science department in Sevenoaks. This is a great opportunity to inspire children and contribute positively to their academical progress within science.

Your responsibilities

• Plan and mark work timely, producing relevant feedback to the children to support their academic progress.
• Teach biology through a variety of creative lessons and practical's.
• Create awe and wonder in line with the biology curriculum.
• Monitor children's development and assess their ongoing progress.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching biology in UK secondary schools.
• Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom control.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing.
