Job: Collections Specialist (Temporary)

Location: Slough

Salary: £27,000

Length of Booking: Ongoing (week to week, usually 6 -12 months +)

Main Responsibilities:

As a long-term Collections temporary you will be working in first stage collections (overdue accounts between 1 and 90 days), liaising with individuals regarding a missed direct debit. This collections role often calls for re-negotiation of terms, setting up different direct debits and generally working closely with individuals to help them resolve any issues. In collections it is important that you represent our well-respected client, ensuring their excellent reputation is maintained. You will meet all collections compliance standards and ensure a supportive journey for the individual.

The Collections Specialist is responsible for liaising with customers for up-to-date payment arrangements and arrears management on all inbound and outbound phone contacts. By applying communication, negotiation, customer service and collection skills, the Collections Specialist leverages collateral into payments. Bringing arrears accounts up to date allows the company to achieve monetary goals and assists customers to ensure a solid credit history.
