Salary: £17.79 per hour
Hours: Part-time (Approx. 20 hours per week)
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Holiday: 20 days (pro-rata) + 8 bank holidays (increasing with service)

About the Role We re looking for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Gillingham on a part-time basis. This role is key to ensuring our equipment runs smoothly, carrying out preventative maintenance, and responding to breakdowns efficiently.

What You ll Be Doing:

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Carrying out planned maintenance (PM) to prevent breakdowns.
• Working closely with other departments to maintain smooth operations.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and company policies.
• Keeping accurate maintenance records and ordering necessary parts.
• Using power tools and working safely at heights if required.

What We re Looking For: Essential:
Experience in a manufacturing, processing, or warehouse environment.
Electrically biased with electrical qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience in maintenance engineering.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Basic Health & Safety knowledge.

Welding skills.
Forklift Truck (FLT) and Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) license.
