We are seeking an experienced and proactive Housing Project Manager to join a dynamic local authority team in South London. This is a key interim role focused on delivering housing-related projects that support the council's strategic objectives around affordable housing, regeneration, and community development.
Your new role

Lead and manage housing development and regeneration projects from inception to completion.

Coordinate with internal departments, external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.

Monitor project budgets, timelines, and risks, ensuring delivery within scope and compliance with local authority standards.

Prepare and present reports, business cases, and updates to senior management and elected members.

Ensure projects align with housing strategy, planning policy, and community needs.

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience in housing project management within a local authority or public sector setting.

Strong understanding of housing development, planning processes, and regeneration.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Relevant qualifications in project management, housing, or construction (e.g., PRINCE2, RICS, CIH).
