Teacher of Geography (Part Time)

• Annual Salary: £37,057 to £54,604 (inclusive of London Weighting, pro rata)
• Location: South East London
• Job Type: Part-time (2 days per week)

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to students aged 16-19 in both A Level and Vocational Geography courses.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students are engaged and motivated.
• Assess, monitor, and record the progress of students, providing timely feedback to encourage and support their learning journey.
• Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the needs and interests of the students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to excel in their studies and develop personal and professional skills.

• Recognised teaching qualification in Geography or a related field.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning to post-16 students.
• Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and educational practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and a proactive approach to learning new teaching strategies.
