A high-performing and modern Secondary School, based in the Borough of Croydon is seeking a driven MFL Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September 2025.

Within the fantastic MFL department, made up of experienced MFL Teachers and ECTs, their focus is to impart students with a knowledge that goes beyond the classroom. They are encouraged to become informed and compassionate individuals with a broad range of knowledge that interlinks with every other subject.

The Head Teacher is keen to speak to experienced MFL Teachers and ECTs, in order to find the most suitable candidate for the role. They are seeking a motivated and passionate educator to hit the ground running and uphold the school's ethos and values, centred around empathy, high expectations for students, and exceptional support. Through specialised support and a pupil-focused learning environment, students excel, with the 2024 cohort of GCSE students achieving fantastic marks across the board.

They are seeking an exceptional MFL Teacher to uphold these standards. For experienced MFL Teachers, various TLRs are available (Head of Department, Key Stage Co-ordinator and more) and ECTs will be enrolled on the school's bespoke ECT induction.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• MFL Teacher
• Inspiring the younger generation across KS3-5 alongside a team of strong MFL Teachers
• TLR opportunities: Head of Department, Key Stage Co-ordinator and more
• Full-Time, Permanent role - September 2025 start
• MPS1 - UPS3 + TLRs (amount dependent on experience)
• Based in the Borough of Croydon

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must hold UK QTS or be in the process of obtaining
• Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards ('Good' or 'Outstanding')
• Strong academic across the board including Degree, A-Levels and GCSEs (or equivalent)
• A desire to make a positive difference to the academic and personal profile of students
• Must be willing to listen to feedback and access CPD opportunities
