Part Time Health & Safety Consultant

Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional seeking a flexible, part-time role?

A growing construction consultancy is seeking a Part-Time Health & Safety Consultant to support their expanding workload.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a flexible environment and is confident working independently with construction clients.

Working Hours: 2/3 days per week, flexible with core hours (e.g., 9am-3:30pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct up to two site inspections per day across Home Counties and London
• Develop and review risk assessments, method statements, and Construction Phase Plans (CPPs)
• Support the development and implementation of company policies and procedures
• Maintain ISO accreditations through internal auditing and compliance checks
• Assist in accident investigations and provide proactive advice to improve site safety standards
• Manage a mix of project-based and retained client work
• Requirements

Essential:

• NEBOSH General Certificate
• CSCS Card
• Minimum of 2 years' construction-related experience
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload independently
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with clients and site teams

Desirable:

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate
• Tech IOSH membership
• Experience working in a consultancy environment

Benefits

• £50,000 - £55,000 (Pro Rata)
• Mileage paid at 45p per mile
