Job Requirements/Description
- Installation, servicing, and maintenance of domestic gas appliances including boilers, cookers, fires, and water heaters.
- Perform gas safety checks and issue Gas Safety Certificates (CP12).
- Diagnose and repair faults in gas systems and appliances.
- Provide clear and accurate reports on work completed.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations, including the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.
- Adhere to company health and safety guidelines and promote safe working practices.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing advice on gas safety and energy efficiency.
- Keep accurate records of jobs, including service reports, and ensure documentation is submitted as required.
- Maintain and manage company equipment and stock as needed.
- Be part of the on-call rota, providing emergency services where required.
