Optometrist

Optometrist, Herne Bay, Kent full or part time, up to 65,000 basic.

You will join a well-established practice with regular full clinics and an excellent reputation within the local community it serves, with an experienced team of Optical professionals already working at the practice to support you in the role.

We are looking for an Optometrist to maintain their high clinical standards and provide first class service in their small but busy practice, complete with state of the art equipment such as an OCT, TRK-2P, Digital testing charts, slit lamps, ophthalmoscopes and retinoscope all supplied!

In return for your services is a fully negotiable basic salary up to c.65,000 depending upon your experience and qualifications, 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, professional fees paid plus benefits.

Key Duties

• Full or part time role two to five days per week working Monday to Saturday with a day off in the week & Sundays off. NB, Potential to enjoy alternate Saturdays off work for excellent work life balance!
• 9am-5pm role with no evening work (37.5 hours FTE)
• Experienced and passionate colleagues working in the practice to support you in your role
• Excellent reputation within Optics and the local community they serve
• Established and loyal patient base
• Practice offers regular double clinics so great prospect to enjoy working alongside another tenured Optomerist
• Smaller, independent feel practice where you will have greater flexibility to spend time with patients

• Basic salary ranging from circa 45000 - 65000 depending upon experience and qualifications

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Registered with the GOC as an Optometrist or soon eligible to register if awaiting Osce results as all levels of experience are welcome to apply!
