Job Title: SEN Key Stage 3 Teacher (Unqualified Early Years Teachers Considered)
Location: Rainham, Essex, East London
Pay Rate: 140 - 150 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Contract: Immediate start, ongoing
Empowering Learning is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Key Stage 3 Teacher to join a supportive school in Rainham, East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with experience in SEN or SEMH settings to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with additional needs. The school is also open to considering unqualified early years teachers who have relevant experience and a strong passion for working with SEN students.
We are looking for a teacher who is confident in delivering engaging and creative lessons to pupils with special educational needs. You will work with students aged 11-13, adapting your teaching to meet their unique learning requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience in SEMH or SEN settings and the ability to manage challenging behavior in a calm and nurturing manner. You will also work closely with support staff, parents, and senior leadership to ensure every pupil is set up for success.
This is a full-time role that requires someone who can start immediately. Ideally, you will have a full enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
QTS or PGCE (preferred, but unqualified early years teachers with relevant experience will be considered)
Experience working with SEN or SEMH pupils
Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
Strong behavior management skills
