Children s Home Deputy Manager
Location: Ilford, East London
Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum

A dedicated and caring organisation committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. The children's home in Ilford currently supports two young people, with the capacity to care for up to five, depending on the matching process.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to join our team. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will help lead the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young residents.
Hours: 40 hours per week between 8am and 8pm (specific shifts to be agreed with the Registered Manager). You will also work alternate weekends (either Saturday or Sunday).

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
- Ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding are upheld
- Building strong relationships with children, staff, families, and external agencies
- Implementing care plans and managing risk assessments effectively
- Leading by example and fostering a positive, supportive team culture
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare essential
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted and Children s Home Regulations
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a children s home
- A full UK driving licence is highly desirable
