About the Role

As a Trainee Project Engineer, you'll support senior engineers in delivering complex installation projects from start to finish. This role also includes site visits across the UK and overseas, giving you valuable real-world project exposure.

Your responsibilities will grow as your skills develop, starting with:

• Assisting with project planning & scheduling (Gantt charts, documentation, drawings).
• Supporting equipment specification, sourcing, and installation plans.
• Helping with logistics, shipping, and export documentation.
• Preparing Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS).
• Assisting with training materials and customer handovers.
• Gaining early exposure to budget monitoring and project cost awareness.

What We're Looking For

We're not expecting you to have all the answers - just the right attitude and enthusiasm to learn!

• A keen interest in engineering and project delivery.
• Strong communication & teamwork skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering is a plus.
• Willingness to travel (UK & overseas).
• Full UK driving licence (or willingness to work towards one).
