International Education Officer £20.52ph, Full Time, Until End of January
We re supporting a respected professional membership organisation in the medical sector with an exciting temporary opportunity. This is a full-time, fixed-term role, ideal for someone with strong administrative, project coordination, and stakeholder management experience.
The Role You ll be joining the International Department to support the education, training, and professional development of International Medical Graduates (IMGs) preparing for Fellowship examinations or undertaking training in the UK. You ll also contribute to global health initiatives and overseas training opportunities for UK trainees.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing administrative and project support across the department, including committee governance, meeting coordination, and basic financial administration.
Coordinating schemes and initiatives such as the Medical Training Initiative (MTI) Scheme and GMC Sponsorship Scheme, ensuring compliance with UK medical and visa requirements.
Organising webinars, events, and international meetings, including travel and logistics for staff, members, and stakeholders.
Producing guidance documents, promotional materials, reports, and presentations for a range of audiences.
Maintaining professional relationships with international committees, regulatory bodies, universities, NHS Trusts, and diaspora organisations.
Supporting the delivery of the College s Pathology is Global strategy and contributing to strategic and operational planning.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience providing administrative and project support to committees or similar structures.
Experience managing schemes, drafting guidance, and advising applicants.
Experience organising and delivering webinars and virtual events.
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, CRM systems, web content management, and online meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom, Slido).
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse stakeholders.
Hours & Location
Full-time: 35 hours per week, Monday Friday (excluding lunch).
Hybrid - 2 days in office per week
Some flexibility required to accommodate international meetings across time zones.
Some UK and international travel may be required.
