Health & Safety Manager Scaffolding

Health & Safety Manager wanted to join an established scaffolding company in Stevenage! Site visits are required so you must be flexible!

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to on our construction sites, with a particular focus on scaffolding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly relating to scaffolding.
• Provide training and support to staff on health and safety protocols and scaffolding safety.
• Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with external health and safety authorities and ensure that all legal requirements are met.
• Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and any developments that affect the employer s industry

Requirements:

• NEBOSH or equivalent qualification
• Experience in a Health & Safety Manager
• Scaffolding industry experience
• Experience risk assessment and reports
