SEN Teacher (Temporary - Perm for September 2025)

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with a range of abilities? We are seeking a skilled SEN Teacher to join a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Inner London from the Summer Term, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role in September 2025.

This is a temporary role for the Summer Term, with a clear path to a permanent position starting in September 2025. The successful candidate will work with students across a wide spectrum of needs, including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), and Moderate Learning Disabilities (MLD).

As an SEN specialist, you will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of each student, ensuring they receive the support and resources needed to thrive. You will work closely with a team of experienced teaching assistants, SEN support staff, and other professionals to create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons for students with a range of SEND, including ASD, PMLD, and MLD.
• Support the development of students' social, emotional, and academic skills.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported.
• Maintain accurate records of progress and work closely with parents and carers to provide regular updates.

About You:

• Experience working with students with ASD, PMLD, and MLD is highly preferred.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is strongly preferred but not essential.
• A passion for special education and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of students.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to adapt to a range of learning styles and support individual needs.
• Knowledge of best practices for supporting children with SEND.
