Geotechnical Estimator Location: LondonSalary: £35,000 - £40,000

A specialist Ground Investigation contractor based in London is looking to appoint a Geotechnical Estimator to join their growing commercial team.

The Role

As Geotechnical Estimator, you will play a key part in securing new work and supporting the company's expansion. You will be responsible for pricing and preparing competitive tenders for a wide range of ground investigation projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing tender documents, specifications and drawings
• Preparing detailed cost estimates for boreholes, trial pits, window sampling, laboratory testing and monitoring works
• Liaising with the Business Development Manager to align pricing strategy with company growth plans
• Obtaining subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Preparing pricing schedules and tender submissions
• Supporting client communication throughout the bid process
• Assisting with commercial handovers to the operations team

About You

• Experience pricing ground investigation works
• Background working for a GI contractor or geotechnical contractor
• Strong commercial awareness
• Strong Excel and organisational skills
