Are you a passionate teacher looking for a flexible and rewarding role across both special and mainstream schools?

We are seeking an enthusiastic PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Teacher to join our team. This exciting role offers the unique opportunity to work across a variety of settings, including special schools and mainstream primary and secondary schools, supporting students with diverse needs, including Autism, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and complex learning needs.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Inspiring Learning: Deliver engaging and adaptable lessons across various age groups, covering teachers' PPA time while ensuring students receive high-quality teaching.
  • Supporting Diverse Needs: Differentiate lessons effectively to meet the learning styles of students in both special and mainstream settings.
  • Creating a Positive Environment: Establish safe, inclusive, and well-managed classrooms where every student can thrive.
  • Collaborating with Teams: Work closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and external professionals to create a cohesive learning experience.
  • Encouraging Student Growth: Monitor progress, provide feedback, and implement strategies to support academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Engaging with Families: Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed and involved in their child's learning journey.
What We're Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/PGCE - essential for this role.
  • Experience in Special Education - highly desirable, particularly with Autism, SEMH, and complex needs.
  • Versatility & Adaptability - ability to seamlessly transition between special and mainstream school settings.
  • Excellent Communication Skills - engaging and supportive approach with students, staff, and parents.
  • Empathy & Patience - a student-centered approach that nurtures confidence and progress.
  • Team Player Mentality - enthusiastic about working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for Education - a strong desire to make a meaningful impact on students' learning journeys.
