The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Key Stage 2 team, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, and contributing to the overall development of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the KS2 team, providing support and guidance to staff.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to raise standards and improve pupil outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning within KS2.
• Teach a KS2 class, delivering engaging and challenging lessons.
• Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team to drive school improvement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
• Engage with parents and the wider community to support pupil development.
  
  

Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a proven track record of successful teaching in KS2.
• Experience in a leadership role within a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate staff and pupils.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and school improvement.
