Teaching Assistant Opportunity - Kent

Full-time - Monday to Friday - 83.33 - 90 per day

Are you an inspiring Teaching Assistant searching for your next role? Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in Kent! We work with schools across the County so we will be looking for schools in a 1-hour radius from your location.

This full-time position is available for an immediate start, initially as a temporary long-term role, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

If you do not yet have any school-based experience but have the right qualities, we do offer our in-house TA school (delivered at our office in Whitstable) that will prepare you for the role.

The Role Involves:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support
• Assisting class teachers in preparing and delivering lessons and activities
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, including assisting with classroom tasks and equipment
• Supervising pupils on school trips and outings
• Rephrasing instructions, offering repetition, and providing guidance to ensure students are fully engaged in their learning

Requirements to Join Us:

• An Enhanced child-only DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references - if you do not have the DBS we can help you get one, and we will pay you back the 46 fee after you have worked for us for 10 days
• Legal right to work in the UK
