Class 2 HIAB Driver

WPRG have an opportunity for HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers to on a work on a TEMP TO PERM basis in Cricklewood NW2.

Our client based in Cricklewood are one of the leading roofing material suppliers in the UK. You will be responsible for the delivery and collection of roofing materials with assistants of a Hiab/crane. You will be responsible for the delivery of roofing materials to sites and you must ensure all products are delivered and collected safely and of the quality expected.

Your HGV Class 2 HIAB role involves:

• Delivering and collecting roofing materials with the assistants of a Hiab/crane.
• Maintaining the vehicle to a high standard.
• Achieving operational targets and contractual KPI's.
• Providing accurate daily information to enable an effective handover.
• Ensuring a safe and productive workplace where the Company's legislative and commercial obligations are met.
• Assisting the site staff with making up and loading of vehicles.
• This is a Monday - Friday role (07:00am - 16:30pm

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 3 years of previous experience in driving HGV's.
• Experience in using Digital Tacho card.
• Crane/Hiab experience is essential.
• Full driver's CPC is essential.
• Ability to work on your own initiative, working to strict deadlines.
• You should process well developed organisational skills and be able to demonstrate commitment to deliver consistent quality.
• Good communication both verbal and written.
• You will be expected to be both customer and company focused with a pro-active approach.
• Knowledge or experience of working in the Roofing sector would be advantageous, but not essential.

Full Time pay:

£34,250 per annum

Bonus Up to £2400 a year (t&c apply)

Full Time Information:

Annual Leave 20 days per year including 5 days at Christmas plus bank holidays

Annual leave year runs January 1st - 31st December

Hours Full-Time, 44.5 hours per week
