About the Role:

As a Behaviour Mentor Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis, helping them regulate behaviour, manage emotions, and stay engaged in learning. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of young people while developing their own skills in the education and training sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide behaviour support to students with SEMH needs

Work closely with the SEN and pastoral teams

Promote positive behaviour strategies

Support learning across various subjects as required

Act as a role model and mentor to students

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEMH or SEN environment

Strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills

A commitment to ongoing education and training

Resilience, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people
