Social Worker/Senior Social Worker - Family Help Service - East London

Location: Redbridge, East London

Salary: £42,324 - £53,607 (depending on experience and level)

£5,000 Annual Retention for Social Workers and £3,000 for Senior Social Workers

The Family Help Service in Redbridge focuses on providing tailored, responsive support to children and families at the earliest possible stage, helping them to build resilience and create lasting change.

• Work directly with children and families to build strong, trusting relationships that make a real difference.
• Manage a manageable and varied caseload within a supportive, reflective environment.
• Deliver high-quality assessments and plans that focus on strengths and sustainable outcomes.
• Contribute to a collaborative, multi-agency approach within the Family Help framework.
• As a Senior Social Worker, you'll also provide support, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced colleagues.

You'll be a confident and compassionate practitioner with:

• A recognised Social Work qualification and current SWE registration.
• Experience working with children and families - ideally in early help, safeguarding, or family support.
• The ability to deliver child-centred, strengths-based interventions.
• Strong assessment and communication skills.
• A reflective, supportive approach to working as part of a team.
• For Senior roles, a proven ability to lead by example and offer practice guidance to others.
