SEMH Teaching Assistant

Academics are seeking a resilient and supportive SEMH Teaching Assistant to work with pupils requiring additional emotional and behavioural support in a primary school in Margate.

What you'll do as an SEMH Teaching Assistant:

• Support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs
• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
• Assist with behaviour support strategies
• Provide 1:1 and small group interventions
• Promote engagement with learning activities

What we're looking for in an SEMH Teaching Assistant:

• Experience supporting behaviour needs (preferred)
• Calm and consistent approach
• Strong teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
• You must have right to work in the UK in order to apply - unfortunately we cannot offer Visa sponsorship.
