We are seeking a Transport Planner to join our client's team in Grays. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in transport planning, The successful candidate will develop and assess transport strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and sustainability goals.

• Develop and assess transport strategies, plans, and models.
• Analyse traffic patterns, travel behaviour, and transport data.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and technical documents for stakeholders and clients.
• Liaise with teams to ensure smooth process and limited delays
• Support planning applications and infrastructure projects with detailed transport assessments.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented transport schemes.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant transport policies, regulations, and sustainability goals.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience working within a busy transport environment.
• In-depth knowledge of UK Road Transport Planning
• Background in planning driving routes
