Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant - Full time, permanent

Salary: £23,000 - £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Bedford
Working Hours: 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

Full training will be given and there may be opportunity to fund suitable finance qualifications.

Accounts Assistant Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with Payroll as required
• Subcontract processing as required
• Assisting with Credit Control
• Raising Invoices
• Matching invoices and delivery notes
• Filing
• General support to the accounts department
• General admin duties
• Maintaining a safe, tidy and presentable office environment
• Good keyboard skills
• Computer literate with knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and experience of working with Databases would be preferable.
• Dealing with telephone enquiries and taking messages for other members of the Department.

Accounts Assistant Skills and Requirements:

• Effective verbal and written communications
• Be able to produce neat, accurate and well-presented work
