Job DescriptionConnells Group Mortgage Centre Mortgage Sales Manager CroydonCompetitive Basic Salary - Career Progression Connells Group Mortgage Centre (GMC) offers remote mortgage advice to both re-mortgage and purchase customers and due to expansion has led to an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, forward thinking Sales Manager to manage and grow a team of Mortgage & Protection telephone based sales advisors. GMC is a highly productive and fast-paced environment and is at the forefront of changes within the mortgage services industry.You will need to have a passion for leading and motivating teams to exceed sales targets and provide customers with the highest level of service and the position would suit an existing Mortgage Services Sales Manager or a Mortgage and Protection Advisor looking to step up in their career.In the role you will also be responsible for expanding and developing the number of business streams into GMC working with the mortgage advisors to maximize each opportunity.You will be financially rewarded for your team's success in exceeding sales targets in line with the Mortgage Sales Manager remuneration scheme.Your responsibilities will include:

• To facilitate and supervise Mortgage and Protection Advisers in providing quality mortgage and protection advice and guidance in accordance with the company's mortgage and protection sales process within regulatory guidelines
• To develop and maintain relationships with internal and external business stakeholders
• To develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
• To meet and maintain competency of the mortgage and protection advisors utilising call recording, observations, file checks, product testing, training etc
• To ensure the successful development of the company in line with the strategy discussed and agreed with the Directors
• For the team of Mortgage and Protection Advisors to meet the agreed sales targets and key performance indicators
• To identify, monitor and deliver agreed sales targets and budgets
• Ensure that all current regulation guidelines are met
• To provide MI as directed and to utilize this information to improve performance

Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

• Proven sales experience within the provision of mortgage or protection advice
• CEMAP mortgage qualification or equivalent essential
• Able to manage a team who work to targets and deadlines and to deliver KPIs when under pressure
• Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills
