Our client is looking for an experienced English Teacher to work at their wonderful independent secondary school in Guildford. This temporary role offers a competitive and negotiable daily rate, paid PAYE, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young learners

Contract: Temporary, full-time position
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6-7months
Level: Teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 English, with the potential to also teach Key Stage 5 English, if suitably experienced

Preferred Requirements:

• Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary level
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage students
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
• Strong classroom management skills and a passion for fostering a positive learning environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
• Degree in English or a related field
• Experience teaching the National Curriculum for England
