Construction Project Manager

GM Recruitment are recruiting a Project Manager for an immediate start - to lead the conversion of existing commercial space into 115 residential units. Our client is a respected developer and contractor with an enviable list of projects. You are a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and excellent organisational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Co-Ordination (managing and co-ordinating all design consultants);
• Producing and regularly updating the construction programme;
• Monitor and managing the project budget;
• Stakeholder management and reporting (managing upwards and providing regular reports to equity partners, lender and other stakeholders)
• Lead and manage project team, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance standards are upheld;
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly enforced across sites;
• Proactively identify and resolve site challenges to maintain project continuity;

What Were Looking For:

• Proven experience in a Construction Project Manager role;
• A strong track record of managing high-quality construction projects to successful completion, on time and within budget;
• Exceptional leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage project teams effectively;
• Solid understanding of UK construction industry standards, techniques, and health and safety regulations;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English;
• Proficiency in construction-related software and tools for project tracking and reporting;
• Relevant qualifications in construction management, project management, or a similar field are advantageous.
