GM Recruitment are recruiting a Project Manager for an immediate start - to lead the conversion of existing commercial space into 115 residential units. Our client is a respected developer and contractor with an enviable list of projects. You are a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and excellent organisational abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Co-Ordination (managing and co-ordinating all design consultants);
- Producing and regularly updating the construction programme;
- Monitor and managing the project budget;
- Stakeholder management and reporting (managing upwards and providing regular reports to equity partners, lender and other stakeholders)
- Lead and manage project team, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance standards are upheld;
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly enforced across sites;
- Proactively identify and resolve site challenges to maintain project continuity;
What Were Looking For:
- Proven experience in a Construction Project Manager role;
- A strong track record of managing high-quality construction projects to successful completion, on time and within budget;
- Exceptional leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage project teams effectively;
- Solid understanding of UK construction industry standards, techniques, and health and safety regulations;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English;
- Proficiency in construction-related software and tools for project tracking and reporting;
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, project management, or a similar field are advantageous.
