We re working with a successful and forward-thinking M&E Contractor based in Central London, known for delivering high-quality projects across commercial, mixed-use, residential, and public-sector sectors. They ve built a reputation for excellence and integrity and now, with ambitious growth plans ahead, they re looking to bring in a dedicated HSEQ Manager to lead all things health, safety, environmental and quality across the business.

This is not a stand-alone H&S role this is a genuine opportunity to become a core part of the leadership team, working directly with the company s two directors to drive improvements, influence culture, and help shape a growing business from the inside.

The Role
The HSEQ Manager will take full ownership of all health, safety, environmental, and quality matters across the company s project portfolio and internal operations. You ll act as the main point of contact for all HSEQ strategy, training, audits, compliance, and continuous improvement while being a visible leader across sites and offices.
As the business continues to grow, this is a key hire that will sit at the heart of the company s strategic development, with genuine future directorship potential for the right person.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead on all HSEQ matters across multiple M&E projects
• Implement, maintain, and improve internal policies and procedures
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and training
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and all relevant legislation
• Produce RAMS, CPPs, risk assessments and method statements
• Work with directors on continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee accreditations (e.g. ISO, SafeContractor, Constructionline)
• Carry out incident/accident investigations and follow up with corrective actions
• Maintain and update HSEQ policies and documentation
• Coordinate training plans and maintain competence across the workforce
• Promote a positive health & safety culture at all levels of the organisation

Requirements
• Strong background in HSEQ management within construction or M&E
• Proven ability to lead audits, drive compliance, and influence culture
• Up-to-date knowledge of H&S legislation, CDM regs, and ISO systems
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• NEBOSH or equivalent H&S qualification essential
• Ambitious, proactive, and passionate about improving standards
