Are you a passionate Drama Teacher with experience delivering high-quality performing arts education?

GSL Education Kent are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Drama Teacher for a client school in Dover who can inspire creativity and confidence in students.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching GCSE Drama and BTEC Level 3 Performing Arts, with a flair for engaging lessons that bring the stage to life. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Drama Teacher looking to make a real impact in a supportive and vibrant school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver outstanding Drama lessons at KS4 and BTEC Level 3 Performing Arts.

  • Foster a love for performance and creativity in a range of students.

  • Prepare students for both practical and theoretical assessments.

  • Support school productions and extra-curricular performing arts activities.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Creative Arts department to enhance the curriculum.

The Ideal Drama Teacher Will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Have proven experience teaching Drama up to GCSE and BTEC Level 3 Performing Arts.

  • Be creative, enthusiastic, and able to engage students through dynamic lesson delivery.

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.

  • Be passionate about the performing arts and developing students confidence and self-expression.
