About CARE

CARE International is a global humanitarian organisation leading the fight to end poverty in the world s most challenging situations. Women and girls are at the centre of our work, because we cannot overcome poverty and inequality until all people have equal rights and opportunities. We know that when a crisis erupts, women are often the first to pick up the pieces, so we work alongside women, so they have the power to make change where it s needed most. Founded in 1945, CARE currently works in over 100 countries and last year alone reached 53.4 million people through nearly 1,500 projects.

Why work for CARE International UK?

This is a great opportunity to play a pivotal role in stewarding and shaping some of CARE International UK s high impact corporate partnerships. You will lead on important multi-year partnerships with global brands such as GSK and Haleon, helping to deliver transformative strategic programmes related to key areas of CARE s Vision 2030 such as community health systems strengthening and gender equality. The role offers significant scope to shape partnership direction, deepen engagement, and support the teams in-country to deliver meaningful, large-scale impact. This role offers the chance to lead, grow and innovate across these impactful partnerships, working in collaboration to drive CIUK s impact further for women and communities at scale.

About you

You are an experienced partnerships manager with a strong track record of leading and growing high-value partnerships. Success in this role requires strong relationship management with a strategic and commercial growth mindset. You bring experience in relationship-building and stewardship, confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders and the ability to represent CARE s work externally. You thrive in co-creating, delivering and growing impactful partnerships and seeking opportunities to drive social and business impact through win-win partnerships.

You have a good understanding of corporate partnerships, sustainability and ESG frameworks and ideally experience in international development and/or a role delivering on global community health outcomes. You are happy to work in a complex environment with a range of internal and external stakeholders, from country office, project management and communication teams to corporate commercial and sustainability leads. You feel inspired by CARE s work and what we can achieve in partnership with companies and wider stakeholders.

About the role

This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value partnerships, including flagship collaborations with GSK and Haleon. You will focus on deepening relationships, co-creating partnership strategies, and stewarding jointly developed programmes that meet both CARE s mission and partner objectives. The role is supported by specialists on finance, operational project management and technical delivery, so the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams to deliver impact is essential.
