Architectural Technician

An award winning multi disciplined architectural practice are looking to recruit an Architectural Technician to work at their Chelmsford office. The company work primarily on delivering large scale residential and development projects. Working in a team of architects, urban designers and technicians Architectural Technician will work on housing projects for national and regional housebuilders. Candidates must have experience working on UK housing projects for large developers.

Duties:

• Preparation of working drawings working within the technical team
• Liaise with team members, consultants and occasionally clients
• check drawings and information to ensure a high-quality output
• Assist with other tasks to help improve efficiency and quality

Skills & Experience:

• Excellent AutoCAD and MS Office skills are a must
• Revit would be a good addition
• Must have excellent technical understanding in relation to housing delivery for housebuilders
• Experience of working with large residential developers is a requirement
• Must have drawing and report writing skills
• A hard working team player with good commercial awareness is needed for this role
